Pride is a sneaky sin. It’s very easy for us to identify it in others, but not as easy for us to identify it in ourselves. So what we often find is that self-promotion plays a much bigger part in our lives than we even realize! But through a parable about a wedding banquet, Jesus shows us why prideful self-promotion is spiritually dangerous, and why we need self-awareness instead!
