Youth Group Game Night

Friday, January 17th was a wonderful night of games, food, and laughter. Though the night was intended to be spent around a table with board games and card games, hide-and-seek ruled the evening by popular demand. Youth learned about Adam and Eve and discussed things that sometimes get in the way of that “fearfully and wonderfully made” feeling. They also discussed people in their lives with whom they could share a kind word. After pizza and hide-and-seek, the evening ended with a game of “Kids Against Maturity”, including some humor even Staff Minister Mielke didn’t understand.

To all who came, thanks for attending! And to everyone, we hope to see you in February! God’s blessings!

Teen Bible Study Opportunity!
February 16th at 7:00pm

WELS National Teen Bible Study is an online opportunity for teens across the country to digitally connect with each other around the Word.

This quarterly, WELS pastor-led Bible study is a great opportunity for teens to interact and study with others who share their faith from around the country. To learn more about the program, read about it here on the WELS website. Teens must register to participate. You can register here.

Upcoming Bible Study Theme: Love to the Fullest
Some sources claim that there have been over 100 million songs written in our world about the topic of love. Everyone’s talking—or singing—about it, but what exactly is love? What does it look like? How do we know when we find it? How do we know how to show it? This interactive online Bible study for teens will explore those questions and more as we look closely at Jesus and find out what is “Love to the Fullest.”

Youth Can Earn Support for Camp South Attendance Fees!

Starting in 2025, Victory youth can earn partial subsidies to cover some of their Camp South attendance fees by completing service hours here at church. Through this program, youth are encouraged to use their God-given abilities to help others and support the ministry of Victory—and get rewarded for it! By serving, youth earn a 5% subsidy per service hour to be used toward Camp South attendance fees, up to 50%.

How can youth participate?
There are three steps to participate:
1. Participate in service opportunities! (See list below)
2. Document your participation. You can report your participation by contacting Staff Minister Mielke (jmielke@victorylutheran.org) after the event or you can fill out this sheet and turn it in to Staff Minister Mielke.
