In religion, people tend to assume that the greatest glory is found in the devoted commitment that we show to God through our words, actions, and attitudes. However, Jesus flips the notion upside down, showing us that the glory of the Christian Church isn’t found in our devoted commitment to God, but in his devoted commitment to us! And it’s his devoted commitment for us in Jesus that motivates and moves us to show devoted commitment to him in our lives!
