When you realize how undeserving you are to receive something, actually receiving it will make you that much more thankful for the gift! That was true for Jean Valjean, but it’s extra true for us on Thanksgiving, as we reflect on all of the undeserved blessings God has poured out in our lives–most importantly, the forgiveness of sins and salvation that is ours through Jesus!
“Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57)
